All your paragliding questions – answered by Fly Vietnam
You can get to Fly Nha Trang by following the Google Map to our landing-site via this link. Once arrived, our team will take you to the take-off site (peak of Hòn Én mountain) by our all-terrain vehicles.
We recommend wearing long pants and clothes that can keep you warm, as it can get chilly during the flight. For female customers, kindly avoid wearing skirts and dresses as the strong winds can cause inconvenience. Finally, sport shoes are essential for walking and moving on the mountain trails.
Aside from the outfit recommended in the question above, you should also bring sun-glasses, sun cream and a bottle of water.
Paragliding activities can take place when there is no rain and no strong winds. Ideally, the weather from March to October will be perfect.
It will take you about 1 ~ 1.5 hours to travel from the city center to the take-off site. The flight duration will last from 10 to 25 minutes. After that, you will land safely back to the ground and have your own time to enjoy some refreshing snacks at our landing site.
The flights operated by Fly Vietnam are Tandem Paragliding, in which you’ll always have at least 1 pilot accompanying during the flight. This ensures maximum safety.
- Paragliding = No motor, relies on natural updrafts and thermals.
- Paramotor = Motorized, uses a small engine and propeller for thrust, allowing for more flexibility in takeoff and flight duration.
Both sports share similar wings and flight dynamics, but paramotoring provides more autonomy and versatility due to the added motor.
